On Kokichi Ouma's way home, he crashes into Shuichi Saihara, who had been mindlessly walking mid-daydream. Shuichi offers him a free trip to the local cafe as an apology, and despite being disgusted by the messy, poorly groomed man, Kokichi agrees. Little does he know, his life is about to change forever.
