Budding Hope
Ten years ago, Maria was left an orphan, her family slaughtered and her home planet burnt to a barren rock. Her and the other survivors barely escaped and were forced to abandon the only home they'd ever known. Taking refuge on a neighbouring planet, Earth, they believed they would be safe, that they were far away from their invader's savage reach...but they were wrong. Now the fate of Earth rests on their shoulders and they must reunite and succeed against impossible odds if they are to save this new world from suffering the same fate as their last. Another ordinary day. That's what I thought. Boring and normal. Until everything was flipped upside down. Kidnapped, tested on, and then set into a new city I've never seen with no clue what was happening, or why. Then my supposed dream reached into the realms of possibility. I could be a hero. Now in a race against time, I must uncover the secrets my parents and my hometown, have been keeping from me and decide whether or not to accept the warning this alien brings. Should I join the fight for the survival of the human race and the lives of everyone left in the entire universe. I'm I stronge enough to stop the apocalypse, or are we all already dead? Join me in this action packed Sci Fi thrill ride as I learn that with great power comes the ability to kick evils ass back into the black hole it crawled out from.
