Vanessa Exelia (vex) doesn't remember her childhood. She knows her parents are dead but does not know how they died, there is very little she does know.

She lives in the small village of sheygrace and is a top notch hunter. Her life is simple, sure they don't have running water there but everyone's knows each other.

Well that is until some army people come to the village looking for "valueable goods" and she finds herself on the run of a lifetime, and for her life, with the help of a near stranger. But they still hunt for her and to stay alive she must learn to harness and use but still hide the powers she just realized she had.

Hey guys so I started writing this a long time ago and went through a bad bout of depression during which I forgot about this story. 
So.... now I'm essentially going to rewrite the story for NaNoWriMo so, I hope anyone who remembers this story finds it nice and remade and less cringy.
