In Hawkins, the party is missing their two friends who have moved away. Mike is constantly calling his girlfriend to talk to her, but realizes something shocking. When he tries to tell El through Cerebro, it stops working, leaving him helpless in the situation. Meanwhile, in a Russian prison, Jim Hopper plans a desperate escape while making a shocking discovery.
