O my unknown friend,
These pages hold my heart and soul,
The emotions within, my story to unfold.
My forgotten songs, once buried deep,
Will resurface now, no longer asleep,
In the season of pain, they were written,
A poet's heart, young and smitten.
Come take a seat, let's share a moment,
Let my words set free your own torment,
For when I was a poet, I was young,
And now, let our souls become one.
With love,
Afreen Rahat

HIS BEAUTIFUL SECRET (completed)
***COMPLETED*** Sky's home life was a little piece of hell on earth. She often had to fight past the pain, but she always found a way to become stronger. When Jake came into her life, he changed everything. She knew from the start that theirs would not be a fairytale romance. They came from two different worlds but could Jake find a way to make her part of his? ******** The thought of him going to the other room and leaving me, literally made my body ache, didn't he know how much I needed him? I wasn't going down without a fight. Slipping my t-shirt off of my shoulder, I gave him my best pouty face and pleaded with him, "You wouldn't leave me all alone in this big, cold bed would you?" He shot me a look that I can only describe as a warning, "Fight fair Sky, I am only human!"Complete
Soliloquy - Poems on Life, Love & Longing (Wattpad Exclusive)
Featured: Wattpad Poetry Feb 2022 My times spent having conversations about life, longing and love.....with myself. In the company of solitude, I attempted to pen down a few lines on a range of emotions and experiences with a simple aim to revisit them in future. I urge the reader to join me and relive his and her own memories and find themselves. There are a few quiet conversations with 'her' as well. She visits seldom these days, busy with others seeking her. I miss her - 'life'. Hope we find meaning in our little conversations with ourselves and life. The Art of Starting Over
Have you ever sunk so low that you actually felt relieved, knowing that it couldn't possibly get any worse? Well, I have... Many times. I lost everything. My family, my future, my home... I swore I would never depend on anyone ever again. And he swore nothing will ever tie him down. He told me he has ghosts. I told him I have fears. We agreed. We were eachother's impending death. And yet I fell for him, slowly and deeply, until I didn't know how to be without him. And he fed on me, gently and steadily, until he didn't know how to let me go. They said he'll never stay. Yet, here he is. I said my heart will never break. Yet, here I am. My name is Alison Lewis, and all I want is to start over. #thewattys2021 Shortlist and #FEATURED on Wattpad Chicklit, New Adult, Romance and Psychological Novel #official reading lists.Complete

Behind My Eyes.
come pick my mind and stay awhile, make yourself comfortable. it's awfully lonely in here. - inside this book, you'll find five distinct parts: simply me, which tells you almost everything you need to know about me. you, which tells you about my experience with love and the state of bliss it brings you. after you, which tells you about my experience with heartbreak and hate. nightmares, which is every scary thing that occurs in my mind and things that instill fear in those who read it. the book closes with recovery, where we explore self-confidence and self-discovery. these are the inner workings of my mind, i'm not going to sugar coat it for you: it's a sad, depressing place. this all comes from the pages of my journals so i'm sparing you the tear-stained pages, consider yourself lucky. hope you enjoy! - feel free to comment or message me :)Complete

Unspoken Words - Life Unfolded in Pages
An OhmNanon Short For the words we cannot speak, for the fears that keep us awake, for the memories that shape us, and the love that binds us-there is only one place where we are truly ourselves. Our journals. Ohm and Nanon's lives have always been intertwined, but within the pages of their private journals, between the lines, lie the truths they could never say aloud. What do their journals reveal about the unspoken battles they've fought? And what happens when those words finally come to light? **Disclaimer:** Please be aware that there are malicious websites mirroring Wattpad content.
