Kat hates the idea of leaving her small town. Let alone going to live in New York City with her mom, two things she despises: big cities and her mother. But her mom has her sights set on getting Kat to leave her small town, her friends, and her dad. Her mom says its to help her choose a better future, because apparently farming isn't an option in her mothers eyes. Her mother is a workaholic and doesn’t pay attention to her at all, so she doesn’t like her mother. New York City is clearly not a fit for her, until a certain someone named Rider comes along and makes everything more interesting. Maybe leaving her small town wasn't a bad thing after all.
