What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens? Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine. I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block. I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best. Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly... ...... This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship. It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words. Disclaimer: Everything here is fake, never happened and completely fabricated by my wild imagination. The story has nothing to do with Wattpad or any website, because seriously, nothing is real here. Not Sick But Not Well.
This day wasn't an exception. I cried over and over until I could no longer, I wiped my tears and took the packages in my arms after opening the door. In the house, nothing new. They were still talking, so I had time to drop off the packages, and without even opening one, I headed to the showers, cleaned my face with water, and went to my room. This is roughly how my days as a child went. I know that it cannot be described as an ideal childhood, but it would certainly be the most beautiful period of my life. Despite family conflicts, school conflicts, loneliness, and fear, I was happy. I was happy because they were all there, happy because they always remained, despite my faults, and happy. After all, I knew that I had not yet experienced the worst. Happy because I knew, that sooner or later everything would end. So yes, I was as cowardly and useless as they all claimed and even more naive than they would have believed, but this vision that I had at that age kept me going. Although the truth was hard to accept, I was given no choice. So I accepted life as it came; I accepted myself and my truth, my weaknesses, and the fact that I had to get used to the idea that I would always be the first actor to die in films.

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
