The humans have deemed certain animals and all mythical creatures as either useless or dangerous. They have wiped out large numbers of these creatures. The creatures were tired of it and took a stand against the humans. A badger a long time ago stole technology from the humans. She gave it to the animals and gave them all elemental powers and bigger brains. The now intelligent animals learned to use human weapons and they now are in a war with the humans.
