I don't want to believe that there's a monster inside of me, but when he came along my whole body was set ablaze.
He's going to kill me slowly, and I have a feeling I'm going to like when I finally burn down to ashes.

When the new boy with blonde hair and piercings rolls into town in the middle of the first semester he intrigues everyone at Hayle High School, most specifically senior geek Jessabelle Lange. Everything in her life has been planned, from the moment she entered the world till the day she takes her last breath her life has been ruled by her parents. But when she befriends the new kid her life is turned upside down, and Jesse isn't sure whether or not she's content with living her life the way her parents have always convinced her it should be lived.
