At the age of 10, every child is returned to their birth parents. The only thing though, when a child gets returned to their parents, they don't remember anything from their past. The entire 10 years of life they have lived. Nobody remembers anything. We only remember our parents. What they look like, what they smell like, what their voices sound like.
That is how it's been for everyone, for thousands of years, for everybody. Well, everybody except me. I remember everything, and the people who I was returned to, are NOT my parents, and my sister, she is missing.
