He saw the slight nervousness in my expression and grabbed my hand. "Look, you're a great player, you're gonna do great. Just smile that pretty smile of yours and relax. Strike out all them boys on the other team and prove what we already know." He said.

No matter how much I tried, life kept me there. I mean all I wanted was to die. I smoked just so I could die. I even got myself a disease. But believe it or not, life started looking up from there. I was used to hating almost everything. It was Gene I inherited from my father. Who knew a hater like me could see the rainbow after the rain, instead of thick sticky mud. I'm McKenzie Miller and in one of my downfall, met this golden boy, that thought me how to smile. He was my twister. He made me want to live and see the world in a different life. He loved me, thereby teaching me how to love. Even in the most confusing way, he held me when I cried. Everyone excepted them to take home the gold, but as fate would have it, they would never make it to their destination.
