This is a collection of poems I've written and decided to publish. It's the second volume in the series, though it doesn't matter if you've read volume one or not. I'm not sure yet how many volumes I'll make. But this one, like the last, will have 25 poems, and then I'll start volume 3. I hope you enjoy!
P.S.- You don't have to comment, but it would be nice to get some feedback. I always like to hear opinions, and to improve my work. Plus, I tried publishing my work on another site similar to this, and got absolutly no feedback....just so you all know.

Everything Hurts
I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. So I kept quiet and pretended that I was not dreading when I would be alone with the man that stood beside me, wondering when it became so normal to do so. Jason and Alicia have the perfect relationship from the outside looking in, but Alicia has kept her wounded spirit and body hidden well. After another one of Jason's violent rages that is impossible to hide, Alicia is finally able to get away from the abuse though. In the process of healing, she begins to relearn what trust, compassion, and safety are once again - that is, until Jason discovers her whereabouts. I am broken And now that you see, what you've allowed to happen to me The evils you have forced into my existence Self-serving evils now defying you with such persistence You try to cover up your lies Dangling hope in front of my eyes ~~~ I write to inspire others and to find a piece of myself that was lost or I never knew I had.
