12-year-old Olivia is just your typical girl trying to fit in. But just like everyone else, she has her secrets and doubts about life. It doesn't help her situation that her mom has been acting weird lately; and her dad seems so distant. How will she ever survive in this cruel, cruel world?

'Weird' is a horror story about the expectations for young girls to care for their families, while also needing to fit into the moulds made for them by stressful friendships and family members. All Olivia wants is to enjoy Halloween, but with all these problems and strange behaviours with her family, paired with the strain on her friendships, she may need to fight for her sanity instead.
