Plot based on the legend abbreviated by Overly Sarcastic Productions and characters made by Thomas Sanders
Roman Kikori, a rather over-dramatic woodcutter, finds himself involved with a mysterious man he met in the woods near a waterfall. This unlikely relationship leads to Roman to have encounters with two priests, a strangely powerful Tsuchinoko, a familiar Kappa, and the Tengu of the woods.

He tries to convince himself he's happy as he returns to his house every night after working overtime and falling asleep on the couch only to start the cycle again the next day. One day he passes by a school after having to take a different route because of roadworks and he spots a cheery, light brown haired teacher by the elementary school. Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side.
