IN THE Kingdom of Khione where the people above were the one always in control, oppression and discrimination became like a habit. Without caring for their people in the common, crimes spread like an infectious virus while the royalties and officials were just enjoying the people's money without hearing their plea.

Ingrid Celeste Fernandez, often called as the girl in black, was picked by an old couple in the River of Sorrow when she was about to lose her life. The moment she woke up, her old memories disappeared and only Ingrid, her name, was the thing she could remember.

Growing up, Ingrid's intelligence started to show. Reading and writing were hard to be learned for people in the lowest level of the society as education was only for the people with money but she knew how to do both. Because of that knowledge, she started helping as long as she could do.

However, why did her foster parents keep on pushing her to the school she despised? How could she survive in a school full of proud golds who treated their kinds like a garbage? How could she still do her duty as a citizen if the school she was about to enter was about to lead her to her doom?
