The Miracle: Prologue
Annabelle and Ross wanted nothing more than a child of their own, but conceiving wasn't easy, impossible, really. One night, in a dream, Annabelle talks to an elderly woman who promises to make their little miracle happen, but at a high cost. Not believing any of this was true, Annabelle quickly agreed, only to fall pregnant a few months later. As the baby is born and grows up, Ross and Annabelle find themselves wondering if the dream had been reality, and the horrid promise Annabelle had made in exchange for her baby was all a mistake. When she learns the woman was real, and she must now pay the tax of her baby, she tells her child, only to learn he wants to fix it. But can he, and will it be enough to save Annabelle in time?
Elliot's partner was his whole world, but after Allan's death, his ghost haunts Elliot's dreams. Everyone tells Elliot to move on, but he isn't sure he can.
