Dirt and leaves got tangled in my hair as he pushed me to the ground. Kai pressed his hand over my mouth and whispered, "Be quiet or they'll hear you". His words sent chills down my spine as I could feel his hot breath fanning my face. The close proximity was enough to make my heart race. In the distance we could hear people shouting in the darkness of the night. I watched as Kai put a finger to his lips signaling me to be quiet. I could only nod fear gripping my heart.
