Charlotte or Charlie Dawson, a seventeen-year old youthful, bubbly girl sets her new life in San Francisco after running away from a rich but misunderstanding family who doesn't really see her for who she is. She moves in with her half-brother, Matty, the only person who is like family to her but has reputation for a few things she thinks Matty would never do. Although, moving in the urban neighborhoods of San Francisco won't be easy for a rich girl like Charlie. From there she meets a book-a-holic named Casper who introduces her to something out of her comfort zone. Soon she realizes her feelings for him and she has to face the fact that she will have to keep up with San Francisco. She wants to run again but something is holding her back from doing it. Was she staying because of Casper or was she just tired of running away?
