Alice Maythers is but another seventeen year old girl who is quickly coming of age, unfortunately it isn't something enjoyed by all risen families.
Once every two years three children who are at the age of eighteen are sacrificed for the greater good of all risen families so that they can continue to live peacefully alongside Mother Nature. They are called The Chosen.
When everything goes wrong, Alice will have to fend for herself, which means leaving her childhood and knowledge behind to be trained to fight and trained to kill.
It's a cruel world out there, especially when the threat lay beyond New Earth.

It doesn't make sense. How is any of it possible? Where does the plot line link? Why care about some random teen aliens? Oh, God, why does it get dark so fast? Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. Aliens call for a ceasefire; the only thing they want is to start living in the Earth, and the peace happens. After that day, all of aliens come down from the ship and start living with humans. Physically, they look exactly the same as humans. The only difference; their coloue of blood is green. Because of this little difference, it becomes hard to find out who is alien, who is human. Eighteen-year old, young and beautiful girl Hayley was having an ordinary hagh school life, until aliens come to the Earth. After that day, although humans and aliens start living together in peace, Hayley hates aliens because she lost the man she loves in the war. Therefore, Hayley cannot trust anyone anymore. By the way, she meets Ezra, the new student in school. After this meeting, Hayley starts seeing the truths about aliens; why they are really here.
