Wolves. They've existed for thousand of years. Some humans have befriended them. Others have remained wild. But there's something everybody can agree on: the life of a wolf is harsh. And Badger will find this out the hard way. Come follow along as you'll learn more about his world and what awaits him once he turns 2 years of age.

Hi, I am NightCrow003 or just NC if you want. Yes, I know, edgy name but I can't be bothered to change it. In this book, which is my first, I wish to make you, the reader, feel the suspense. I might fail, I might not.

That being said, here's a bit of a warning: English is my second language and I am writing on my phone, so expect lots of misspelled words and sentences that have no sense. If this happens, I would gladly accept anybody pointing them out. If my writing's a bit sloppy, I would also adore any advice. Now then. Onto the book!

A wolf's life takes an unexpected turn when tragedy strikes and leaves him without a past and with even less hope for the future. A long journey is ahead as he struggles to rediscover himself and the meaning of home. ★☆★☆★ After an accident that Drizzle can't even remember, he wakes to find that he's lost everything. Injured and trapped in an unfamiliar place with no recollection of where he is or why he's there, Drizzle is hopelessly lost. At least, until he's taken in by a kind wolf and offered the chance to be part of their small, less than orthodox pack. Drizzle soon grows closer to these wolves than he'd ever imagined, but his past is determined not to be forgotten. Visions of his former life haunt his dreams, while feelings in the present leave Drizzle wondering just where he belongs in this pack. To stay with the wolves that truly care about him means overcoming scars both new and old, and facing fears he never thought imaginable. But there's more to his new family than what's on the outside. The wolves he thought he knew share an adverse past of their own, all the while Drizzle's dreams grow more confusing and sinister by the day. He starts to think the answers to what brought him here are better left in darkness. Maybe, leaving it all behind is just what Drizzle needs to remember how to be happy, how to love, and even find a new home. But everyone's past catches up with them eventually... ★☆★☆★ Ongoing WC: 50,000 - 55,000 3rd Draft | Formerly: More to Family

THIS BOOK IS COMPLETED but it will be HEAVILY EDITED and have things added to it in the future. I wrote this book when I was much younger. I didn't expect it to reach this amount of popularity so I will devote my time to bettering it in the future. ------------------ Every year, in our village and the neighbouring villages, we encounter, on what is suppose to be the most divine and celebrated day of the year, a visit from the 'big bad wolf'. At least that's what the children call him. Adults like to call him "inhuman" or a "wild ravenous monster". However, the majority settle for "beast". No one knows why he ruins this specific day for us, the day we can celebrate our species: werewolves. Some despise him for taking this day from us and forcefully exchanging our merry and joyful laughs to screams of fear. When that specific day of the year approaches us, none of us are ever prepared for it. He always comes at night. We are told to lock our windows, draw our curtains and our doors. We are told to hide. There's one main rule that we have: don't look at him. Because if you do, no one knows what'll happen to you. Maybe that's the worse part, not knowing your fate. Not knowing the outcome of your foolish actions. If he comes roaming your streets, you have a right to be scared. Us "maidens" are always encouraged to hide ourselves the most, it's women that he supposedly wants more. However, I believe that that is a cautionary excuse. He'll take you, no matter how old or how young, no matter how innocent or how corrupt, no matter your gender, all it takes is a look. Either he looks at you, or you look at him, or you both exchange looks. Either way, his senses will pick you up, and you can't hide. It'll be too late. The amazing cover is by @-blackrogue. They call them enforcers-They are the ones that come in and clean up when laws have been broken. They are the most feared and strongest of us. They were the ones who couldn't live peacefully in the packs so they decided to make use of them. Soliditary wolves with alpha personalities. I am not like them. I'm worse. I'm a considered a rogue. Something that must be hunted down an exterminated. I'm not a bad person and I've never hurt anyone in my life but my wolf, I can't control her when I shift. We saw something when we were young. My whole pack was slaughter before our eyes and now my wolf is like a wounded animal she lashes out at times unable to tell between friend and foes. A uncontrollable wolf is dangerous in a pack. That is why I chose to live as a rogue, hiding from the werewolf committee and their laws. Luckily I've learned to blend in very well but when I end up in the wrong place at the wrong time my peaceful life quickly comes to an end. Now I'm the prisoner of the enforcers who should have killed me. Why haven't they killed me? Well because by some cruel trick my mate turned out to be their leader. Now I'm stuck with someone who isn't sure if he should kill me or if he should take me to his bed. Don't I get a say in any of this? How could this possibly get any worse... Cover by @PANANABELS
