Young Jace is turning one today, he gets the gift he's always wanted. A purple elephant stuffed animal. He and his mommy celebrate the day until it's time for bed. When Jace wakes up something is wrong, it's dark, mommy's missing, his crib is turned over, and his purple elephant can talk. Eddy and Jace go on an adventure to find mommy, she'll know what to do. But it's easier said then done, can Jace trust Eddy, will Eddy really help Jace find his mother or will he make everything worse? Is Eddy keeping secrets from Jace?
