Yu-Gi-Oh! VB ||Yu-Gi-Oh! Fanfic||

The days of regular face to face dueling is over. There's no crowds cheering you on, no real rivalries between two people and strange enough, no real decks. All dueling is now done through a system call the World Wide Grid as VB Dueling (Virtual Bio or Virtual Life Dueling). This is how dueling is done and no one ever questioned the system because the W.W.G (World Wide Government) wont let you question the system.

The World Wide Government uses VB Dueling as a way to control the out come of duels and to track people around the world. Deciding who they see as a threat to their new world. But everything changes because of one boy and his friend. Young Yutaro Ryuuki, a fifteen year old duelist who's ranked eighth in the world stumbles upon a run down game shop in the middle of town. Curious of what may lie inside Yutaro ventured inside the old game shop. Old Duel Monster Cards were displayed in the glass cases, posters laid out on the walls and dueling gear that Yutaro never seen before.

While exploring inside the old game shop the floor suddenly gives way from underneath Yutaro's feet, sending him to a lower level of the game shop. There he learns the truth behind dueling and what the World Wide Government was really going with the VB Dueling system. Yutaro then tells his best friend, Yue Mashiro who's ranked fourth in the world, what he has found and the truth behind the W.W.G. Now the World Government is trying to stop them from revealing the truth from the public. Now Yutaro and Yue must now have to save their friends and family who are trapped in the VB world, expose the World Wide Government to the public and bring back dueling to the real world like it once was.
