This is the prologue (recently edited and finalized) and an included chapter (editing and reworking in progress) of a work-in-progress. I hope you enjoy. The Land of Ash and Blood is about several different characters' points of view. A war is brewing in the land, and the Last Watch keep is the first to feel the very finger tip of the attack that is to come to the great kingdoms of man. This is a tale of treachery and betrayal, strong wits and passionate lovers, blinding hate and racism, a gambling of fates and a battle of wits. In the midst, a hero is born while another hero is abandoned. In the end, there will be no victor who can reap the spoils of a blood war that leaves the kingdoms of man in ash and ruin.All Rights Reserved
