This is no ordinary gold she'd find digging around California, this is Jerimiah's Gold. Jerimiah was a notorious outlaw in the early 1840's until his demise in 1876. People around the nation have told tales of him burying the last bit of money, exactly one thousand in gold, in the Northern state of Michigan. Follow Klara, and her perilous journey, as she finds not only the treasure, but her own self worth and morality. • This story is set in the United States of America in the early 1890's, please keep that in mind in regards to political correctness. None of what is said is necessarily my own thoughts, but the thoughts of the characters and people of that time. Please enjoy with that in mind.
