Marigold Silverstreak never had the best life, but when she gets accused of a crime she didn't do, she's sent to Nevermore, as that is the ultimate punishment. In that hellish place, with the help of a sly fox and a swift mare, she discovers that Rosewood is not the peaceful and just kingdom that everyone thinks it is. And if she doesn't do something to help, and fast, then her kingdom could soon be nothing but ashes.
She doesn't have that much time to decide whether to help or not, no time before the decision is made for her. All she can hope is that she made the right choice
