"Why.. do you care so much?" I couldn't be angry anymore, not at her. Not with how she was looking at me right now. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't." She pulled me into her, the smell of her leather jacket now more heady and thrilling as ever. She's going to kiss me.. She's.. she's really going to do it.. My eyes started to flutter close, head tilting in a fashion that allowed me to see what was coming just before I closed them completely. Awe shit. I backed away. "Turn around.." My chest tightened. "..And there's your reason."

They have been best friends for eighteen years. Life happened and they lost touch... Seventeen years later, family and fate decided to give it another try. Gabe and Gabby both accomplished a great deal in their life. He is rich, handsome and successful. She is independent, smart, wealthy, not to mention gorgeous. He was named one of the most eligible bachelors, and she just wanted to find a guy that will love her... not her money. When Gabe saw Gabby for the first time after seventeen years, he knew exactly what he wanted. He just had to make her realize it, and Gabby was terrified. Coming on too strong and with so much passion was frightening for Gabby, but Gabe was persistent and would not give up this time. How else would he make her see him as something more than a best friend she grew up with? He didn't want to spend the rest of his life wondering what would or would not be. "I could kill you," he grins holding the gun to my temple. "I wouldn't be scared," I reminded him. He trails the gun under my chin lifting it, allowing me to look him in the eyes. "No one would know you were murdered by me," he continues making me smile. "I think I might have a gun kink;" I tell him while holding eye contact. "Fuck," he mutters as he smashes his lip onto mine, •••• The crimson colour pools beneath me as I let him twist the dagger that had been living in my heart since the day we had met. Sometimes we settle for the love we think we deserve only because are parents didn't portray it better therefore we think the bare minimum is over the top. ••••

He stepped closer, his burning crimson eyes never leaving hers. Her breath hitched. Her heart pounded in her chest, fear and something unexplainable tangling together. "And if I refuse?" she whispered. A smirk curled on his lips, dark and knowing. "Then I will make you ready... but you will marry me." She wanted to call him insane, to tell him he had the wrong person. But the way he looked at her-like he had waited lifetimes just for this moment-shook her to her core. He spoke of promises she didn't remember, of a past she couldn't recall. Yet, something inside her ached at his words, a strange sense of déjà vu wrapping around her like a ghostly embrace. What happens when a demon claims you as his lost lover, swearing that you once vowed to marry him?

I want to protect you.. " he was messingly crying. The old memories of his late lover closed in his heart. The re-birth of his lover. Did he, they going to find out eachother.

This story is completely written from my imagination. It has nothing to do with real world and incidents. Any character, event, business, place, incidents are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual person, living or dead, everything that actual happens that might be coincidental. This book contains mature theme and violence and some sensitive topics that might be triggering. I'm in my improving stage so please ignore some mistakes.
