Just a Spoonful of Sugar

Leah her name, a sour girl that can be sweetened. Her journey from a sapling to a young adult came with free and caged moments. She was playful but the bossy one on the playground when she was just five, the leader in her childhood, a sour teen and the recent ages of now, adulthood were it reaches towards the tips of her first spoonful of sugar.

She assumed the world had owe her for the distasteful childhood she received, a mother who only had concern for her younger sister and a father that could barely remember her name. She was neglected for a reason she didn't know until she turned twenty one. The reason that angered her causing her to leave her old lemon tree behind, leaving her growth.

Along with her newly brought home and dog, she also brought a new life. It didn't fill the void that was empty in her heart although it was close. A new sapling grew in replacement of the old - it was much sweeter; peaches. She planted it in her own backyard that she couldn't afford for much longer.

What did she do to save the peach tree, her new home and dog - her new life? She discovered for-what she thought was the source of the sugar. An endless drug deal continues to corner her....
