Shane didn't really understand what the purpose of life was. Really, he just thought that life was a punch in the gut and laughing at you for being a stupid mess. That's how he saw it at least. With all his tattoos and piercings scattered on his body, he just didn't think life had a meaning.

It's a Shoey FanFiction! This will be the third I have ever written! It takes place as Shane and Joey, both 18 years old, and in their senior year highschool. Joey was sent away from California to go to a 'Straight camp' as soon as he came out to his dad. Shane hadn't seen Joey, his bestfriend, since the 8th grade. He soon came out to his school, and was bullied ever since. Being without his best friend, and with the whole school hating him, he developed anorexia and has severe depression, causing him to cut and other forms of self harm. The straight camp hadn't change him the slightest bit, and Joey comes back to live with his mom after his parents get divorced, and is able to see Shane in his last year of highschool!
