Eleanor Jameson was suppose to die on October 15, 1915 at the age of seventeen. She wasn't suppose to turn. She wasn't suppose to be one of them. Yet here she is, a blood-sucking, red-eyed vampire.
109 years later, in the year of 2024,the world is now being protected by Vampire Hunters. After the Great War, vampires have started to come out of hiding. It's up to the Hunters to keep those creatures in their place. It's up to the Hunters to make sure those creatures return to Hell and stay there. It's up to the Hunters to kill every single one of those blood sucking demons. It's up to the Hunters to protect the humans and their world.
But why can't this Hunter kill her? All vampires are evil; what makes her any different?

The young witch Phoenix observed a certain vampire for years, who was torturing the innocent. She was not obeying the rules. When being a vampire, you only are allowed to feed on the ones who murder. If a human has murdered someone, then they deserve to die themselves. So the society of the supernatural made the rule to only feed on the guilty. The witches in this society are supposed to protect the humans of the innocent and keep the vampires and werewolves in line. Only because of this the vampire's dislike the witches and now there is a war between them. Phoenix is trying to do her job and protect the innocent, only this certain vampire has gone on a killing spree, and won't stop. And definitely doesn't care what some little old witch says, and every time she tries to kill her she threatens to kill her family, starting with her mother. While reading this book you will learn, that witches were chosen to protect because even though vampires have the power to kill, witches are stronger. And phoenix will learn the ups and downs of a vampire and also learn to reunite both sides in order to defeat a common enemy. The only question is will she survive this nightmare.

If it were possible, Grants eyes go even blanker, as if the life had just left his body. It's a few seconds before his body collapses to his knees and then laggingly onto his face. The creature's slender, skeletal fingers drip with his blood, in its hand, a fresh, still desperately beating heart. Grant's heart. * Julien would be your run of the mill bad girl; smart mouth, always picking fights, doesn't take anyone's crap bad girl.
