However, a side effect caused by the machine's radiation use, gives .9% of test subjects enhanced abilities. Superpowers, so to speak.
This story follows two timelines, with one focusing on the I.C.C., and the other following Luna and her friends' journey to become superheros, people to protect and care for the recovering Earth.

What causes complications for Laura's progress is her growing attraction to Merc, oddly because he's as void of a conscience as she is. She needs to figure out if Merc knows where the machines are so she can shut them down. Merc in turn, needs to stop Laura from finding the machines to keep Earth on its path to ruination. They are more powerful than they are letting on, and have no qualms about killing the other.Complete

Rebecca Alingston decides to forcefully transform Dillon into a super robot which will be known as H.O.P.E. As part of her plan, Hope will save humankind and Earth, then later in the future will save her. After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity.
