1960s Alabama, the United States of America is a ticking time bomb of racism and prejudice. Alabama is the heart of the Civil Rights Movement. 

Christian James is a senior in high school and witnesses the prejudice with a front row seat. He has a promising future as he has been accepted to Harvard. In his heart, Christian knows the prejudice and racism is evil, but for Southerners it has become a way of life. 

But when a fellow African American teenager catches his attention, Christian must decide whether it is worth it to go against centuries of tradition, his rich family who at one point in time owned slaves and the unwritten laws of social boundaries. What will it cost them when the do the unthinkable???
