At this point, I started to fall for you. Nothing seemed to go right for you, but you never cared. You just laughed it off and tried again with a cheerful smile on your face. I admired that in you almost as much as I loved that slightly lopsided grin on your face.

This was a piece of backstory I wrote for an unpublished story I have. It's one of the few pieces of writing that I have completed (short stories don't come easy to me, as much as I love them), so I thought I'd might as well post it. Consider it a sample for the other things on my account. Keep in mind, however, that my writing style varies wildly even between sections of stories, so this is just one way that I write.
