I had to write this book, just so I could say that I wrote a book within my lifetime.
This book is filled with vulgar language and grotesque imagery. Readers beware! This book is about a high school shooting which also depicts a young man's love for the girl of his dreams.
His name is Walter Hatwin, and this young man attends a high school in a small town called Snowridge. Even though he isn't quite ready to graduate, yet, Walter spends his days doing his daily activities which include puffing a lot of marijuana and professing his love for this girl at school, who they all call Shae Harbor.
There is a terrible storm over his head, however. This brown-eyed girl is with another young man, who plays for the hockey team. His name is Kyle Carver, and his goals are within his sights.
Walter comes from a broken home, and his parents are divorced. His mother lives with a convicted felon, who has a loving shadow hovering over him. Meanwhile, his dad lives highly above the rest, inside of his room, on the third floor of the Rosenthorn Apartments. He speaks the word of God, but that's only because God is able to help him out with his troubles.
Walter has many friends including his best friend, Machine, the third wheel, Shawn Hoover, and furthermore, the power slugger for the baseball team, Eddy Baker.
Once, there was a Jack Bradley, as well.
With Walter's lifestyle not living up to his own standards, will the young man be able to convince the love of his life, Shae Harbor, of something that the young girl has never believed in before?
This has to be true love.

--------------------------
Two months have passed since the day I pushed Hayden away. Two months since I found out he loved me and wanted to be with me. I've been trying to move on and forget about him, but my heart refuses to listen.
Hayden had almost died saving me. Half of me wants to forgive him for everything and give him another chance. The other half prevents me from doing so, distrusting him and ignoring my heart's desires. Hayden is dark and complicated, and as the days pass, he gets further away from me, ignoring me whenever our paths cross.
I have less than a year before I go to college, and I won't see him ever again. I have to believe I will get over him and move on with my life. I have to believe in my future without him.
Unless he didn't really move on, and our masks are about to fall.
