Elves have gone into hiding. Humans are overpopulating the lands. Everything is in disarray. Those with abilities and unnatural qualities have hidden, all except a few who were left behind by their brethren.
But Tamara Kyrrha Fildaerae is not among those in hiding. She had no idea that her kin would leave her behind when they left to go deeper into the lands, further from the humans. She has not had the pleasure of their company in seven hundred years. Yet she still waits.
She still prays that she'll see them. Still prays that she'll find her mate.
But time isn't always so kind to the mind. And just like anyone stuck in the human world too long, she begins to lose hope.
