This was a dream I had earlier this week but some events have been added since it was short and I woke up before it was over. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! I know I have not been posting as often as I said I would, but I was going through a lot of family issues and a death in the family. So I stopped writing for a few months. Now, I'm slowly revising the chapters that are already published and after that, I'll continue writing.

Folktales and legends are the essence of childhood, but there comes a time when they must be left behind. One must grow up. But when The Princess of Kaupa, is married off to the King of the Theas. What seems to be a match made by the avaricious King of Kaupa, turns out to be a match made by the gods. Folktales and legends are the essence of childhood, but there comes a time when they must be left behind. Or must they? * * * I tilt my head to look at him. I have tears in my eyes; one is running down my cold cheek. I see his eyes widen and him falling to his knees beside the tub. He grasps my left arm forcefully, his eyes wide with fear. "You will never have me..." My voice breaks, but I manage to force out the words that are edged in my mind, and in my heart. "I curse you, everything you ever love shall die, everything you ever try shall fail, everything you ever wish for shall be denied you, my curse will ruin you, but the gods... the gods will end you..." I draw in a shaky breath, and gather the last of my strength. "The gods are as sardonic as they are vengeful... You shall die by the hand of The Spirit Warrior..." In the few moments after I say those words, there is utter silence and the only thing I hear is the sound of my blood hitting the water in the tub, which is already painted red. I see him opening his mouth and yell at me, yelling my name, but I hear nothing. I close my eyes and I feel only the blood steadily dropping from my wrist. "Put me in the same coffin..."

I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. After all, I was Destiny Requalhi, Creator and Destructor of All. ------------------------------ Destiny Requalhi, a girl with a rough past and set in stone future. She wanted to be a normal lioness when she grew up but got so much more. She constantly is looking behind her back ready for a random attack to bestow itself upon her. How will she react when her biggest enemy comes back from death? ------------------------------ MAY BE TRIGGERING TO SOME READERS! [Warning; This book has plenty of foul language that sometimes borders on obscene, a couple of drool-worthy males, a smoking hot MC, and a storyline that will probably make you cry. *Run on sentence/warning done*] Thana Kage has been on the run for nearly half of her life. Hopping all across the world for five years and waiting for the time when people have forgotten she ever existed, Thana finally returned to make a new life for herself where it had all began. For three years, the plan went along well. She gained a new...friend, made her debut in a public school, and even procured a steady job with a solid income. It was all going so smoothly that Karma just couldn't help but bite her in the ass again. The Shade Brothers, the infamous Quad that Thana herself had once been apart of so long ago, have arrived to put a kink in Thana's well-maintained plan. She thought she had forgotten them. That they had forgotten her. They didn't forget nor did she. Que karmic ass-biting. *This is a slow-burn RH story with four hunks and one kickass female who've they've promised the world to while she keeps it all spinning. 40,000+ words so don't be deterred by the shortage of chapters.* {Apologies. I'm terrible at describing my story but by no means terrible in story...I think? Semi-good? Half-good? I don't know 😅 Anywho, give it a chance or a whirl and let me know what you think! P.S. This story is still in the editing stages so if you spot anything kinky let me know and I'll edit away! Happy reading :)}

(The first installment of the TDIQL PROJECT) The story revolves around Joseph Brown as he drifted silently in the endless spaces of the "Hidden World", also known as the afterlife. While struggling to investigate why he ended up in this world, a memory of the past resurfaces about two ill-fated childhood friends, who suddenly took separate paths in their lives on a whirlwind of questions. They would shared a special bond linked by the memories they spent together and led each ones path to a much larger chain of events... But Little did he know that the journey he'll take was more than just that... ~~~ ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS In preparing this short novel, we have drawn on the works of our childhood works and intrests. We have also made use of the motivation given by our families in discovering our writing which led to its only publication on the 52nd Christmas Family Reunions held in Sta. Maria, Bulacan and Solano, Nueva Viscaya respectively. I am indebted to Ernesto Aquino (1951-2017) and Sonia Buendia Aquino for being my main supporting staff, editors, and proof readers. I also wanted to thank Leonor Aquino and Ericson Aquino for printin and publishing; and Mary Anne Hermosa for editing and proof reading. This is dedicated to the people who loves and support our work. All the characters, places, and contents are entirely fiction. Some depictions of dream conspiracies and theories are views expressed on our own, as whatever factual errors exist in the text.
