The story follows an 18 year old girl named Maggie. She has a girlfriend named Sarah and lives with her parents while she goes to college. However her parents are not home that much and that leaves her alone with her abusive older brother. Her brother Stephen was 22 and a heavy drinker when he gets home. An event takes place that makes Maggie's life take a 360 turn for the worst...or that's how it seems. A mythical legend passed time finally come to the surface and the world would be changed by a girl no one knew as dangerous.
