The world is over run by vicious creatures known as shifters. They can take human form at any time but prefer their true form at night. They rip through every human they see leaving only the bone and blood of their victim. Dmitri Hale has lost everything to these creatures and now struggles with both his ability and will to survive. He searches for a friend to fight the end of all humanity with.
