There's something everyone is ashamed of. Many times it's the way a certain body part appears and other times it's a family member. The thing I was most ashamed of was how I wasn't enough for my own father, Sirius Black. He had lost me for years, but when the opportunity arose to have me back, he sneered and told me I wasn't enough. For that, I was ashamed of myself. I should have been ashamed about who had actually raised me. I'm not talking about my uncle, who loved me more then anything, but rather my stepfather, the man everyone was hiding from me. He was said to be an evil man, but he loved me, which had to make him at least slightly good. So why would I be ashamed of a man like that?

--------------------------------------------------------------

Ivy Hamilton, known to her true friends and family as Ivory Black, had spent the better part of her summer prepping potion ingredients for her uncle, Severus Snape, as punishment for what happened at the end of her third year. However, it's time for Severus to return to Hogwarts and Ivy is heading to spend her last two weeks of summer break with the Malfoys. It was the perfect end to a somewhat boring summer. Or at least it was supposed to be.

After the devastating events at the Quidditch World Cup, Ivy is left burned and scarred, with more questions then answers. Heading back to Hogwarts was the last thing she wanted, but there everything seemed right in the world with her friends by her side and her classes preparing her for a life outside the castle walls. At least it did until she laid eye on the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. With the appearance of the Dark Mark and her new professor, Ivy seems to be thrown into a darker world, one her entire family has been trying to hide from her.

[COMPLETED] Ivy Potter has just completed her third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with her twin brother, Harry Potter. She came face to face with He Who Must Not Be Named in her first and second year but this year, she came face to face with a werewolf. An enemy became family, a mentor became a beast, and a friend became a lover. Now, Ivy must make a decision to succumb to the ancient power she wields within her through the help of the family who raised her, the Malfoy family. Should she fall to the forgotten ways, she would be changed forever. What can a fourteen year old do when that isn't the true danger she faces this year? Especially when she meets her true love? Sneak Peak: "Ivy, this is my oldest son, William," Mr. Weasley introduced us before going back to the kitchen. I held out my left hand, "Hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Ivy." He was tall, handsome, and thin. His red hair was tied back and he had a single fang earring hanging from his right earlobe. Wow, he looks cool. The clothes he wore were fantastic for punk rock. I realized he was also observing me and finally gave me a devilish smirk. "Very nice to meet you, Miss Ivy. You can call me Bill. Aren't you a bit young for tattoos?" he asked and kissed my hand. I blushed, "It's more than a tattoo." He looked intrigued and turned around, "Charlie, you should really come meet this one. She's a beauty!" Bill stood aside and I made eye contact with the most incredible eyes I've ever seen. When I made eye contact, a purple glint shined over his eyes and I felt my whole body relax. My lips separated but my body wouldn't move. I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest and I forgot how to breathe and think for a moment. Bill waved his hand between us, up and down. The contact broke and it was like I was released from a spell. I held out my hand again, "H-Hi. I'm Ivy Potter. It's nice to meet you."
