The book is about the story of an Indian teenage boy studying in Tenth Grade going through the paces of a normal boy in school. The book is an interesting and captivating compilation of his experiences as a teenager. The writing style is light and witty and compels the readers to move along with its fast and very interesting pace. The book spans a Teenager's school life in India, his trip to the US and back to coping with his life at school again in India. It is interspersed with interesting anecdotes related through the teenager's perspective. The book transports the reader to the US. Interestingly, while the boy travels through the various cities of United States peppered with his own peculiar insights and incidents, the style of writing will catapult all readers in the boy's shoes and enable the reader to travel along with the author all through USA with laughs all along. Overall the texture of writing is light with a subtle humor which brings out the funny side of life. The style of writing keeps the read interesting and would surely be a hit amongst both; the teenagers who would identify with the protagonist and elders who would find the humor and narrative engrossing as a great insight into a teenager's mind. For the travel bugs who have already been or are planning a trip to the US, this would be a great mix of facts with a dose of fiction put across in an interesting manner.
