Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. This collection of short essays shares a 16-year-old's views on diverse aspects of Modernity, including social media's perverse effect on the self, the importance of nature, the alarming state of public education, or even death. First, you will find yourself confronted with critical revelations, thought-provoking ideas, and acute observations. Then, you will be inspired to develop your own intimate antidote to the many modernity-induced maladies we all suffer from, such as a sense of paralysing emptiness, the cynicism that stems from a deliberate exposure to overwhelming quantities of information, and the frustration of living in monochromatic megalopolises.
