Diamond is a young, ambitious entrepreneur. Things haven't always been glitz and glam for her, though. Growing up in the hood, she had to get it out the mud to survive. With a lot of hard work, she was able to earn the life she wanted. At just the age of 22, she has it all: the business, her dream home, her dream car, and the man of her dreams- or so she thought. When her fiancé leaves her for someone else, her seemingly dream life is awakened by reality. 
     Newly single, Diamond is determined to just focus on herself and her business. Those new plans come to a screeching halt when King reappears in Diamond's life. King is a friend from Diamond's childhood, and when they reconnect sparks fly. But King is a player who's not ready to give up his bachelor lifestyle. Unfortunately, he's not willing to give up Diamond, either.
     As much as Diamond tries to fight the attraction, the more time she spends with King the more she falls for him. She knows a lot of drama and competition will come the deeper she gets involved with King. Is Diamond willing to put her heart on the line to stay down for the crown, and be his Queen?
