The submarine convulsed, a red light saturated the cramped room the five occupied, while the scream of the alarm filled the atmosphere. The air pressure began to increase as they slowly began to plummet into the dark abyss below.

When Aline, Noah, and Danilo attend an internship with spontaneous Dr.Crewitz in an attempt to escape their misfortune filled lives. So it was a surprise to find that  their misfortune appeared to have followed them on the trip and sink their submarine sank 4,000ft below the surface; 4000ft away from their family, 4000ft away from civilization and 4000ft closer to their doom.
Just when all hope is abandoned, the group discovers an entire civilization filled with secrets, weapons, and...flying spiders? Will the group make it back to the surface in one piece? Or, will they be consumed by the enigmas the Mariana Trench holds in store for them?
