This is a little sonnet I began writing awhile back and finished a few nights ago. It's not to anyone in particular, to those of you who will ask (if anyone ever sees this). Enjoy.

"Can you hear me?" she asked. No one answered. "I'm right here." Silence. Not even a glance. She swallowed hard. "Do I even exist to you?" The room buzzed with voices, laughter, conversations weaving around her, but not with her. "Say something. Anything." Nothing. She let out a shaky breath. "Maybe if I disappear, you'll finally notice." Silence again. "Left Unseen" is the story of those unheard, unnoticed-of voices lost in the noise, of people who feel invisible even in a crowded room. If you've ever felt this way, this book is for you. #1 poetry
