Second chances aren't always the last...

Nightwing the Destroyer, the once most powerful pegasus in Anok, was defeated by the young black foal, Star the Healer, and cast into the Beyond, where he stayed and slept. He was accepting the fate his was given until he woke up in the same place he had been slain by the black foal.

The cold hearted stallion is told that Anok is in need, and he is the only one that could defeat what's to come. He does not think he can pull through however.

Along his new journey, he befriends a colt named Aspenheart, who gives him a new purpose, and a new perspective to this world. But is this colt's influence enough to keep Nightwing's dark past from crawling back? Or will it consume him once more?
