My Heart, the Ocean

"Look out to the west, my young one, there you will find your heart."

Ever since he was a child, he never knew what his mother meant. To the west was nothing more than a raging and wrathful ocean whose grey waves pummel and churn against the sharp and ragged rocks below a harsh drop of a cliff. As the sun would dip below the sea to the west, Touya would find himself drawn to the edge of the cliff once more. One by one, his siblings would be drawn to the edge with them. Together, they would stand hypnotized as they look out to the endless stretch of the ocean that always seems to call their names.
