I push him away roughly and stand up all shaky and wobbly, unable to keep my balance and lean against the rock beside me. "Shit Miles I didn't mean, I'm sorry" I usher as he bends down to clean up my mess. "Don't Miles, leave it, I'll get it" I whisper bending down to his level as he cuts his hand on the broken glass. I take his hands in mine and look him in the eyes. He has a small but deep cut on his left cheek where some of the glass kicked up and got him.
