Of course, in a world of light and wonder, darkness remains, no matter how much you try to snatch it out. Darkness comes in many forms; people, emotions and power.
Vienna Gray has experienced darkness firsthand. Her parents leaving her alone in the world, her terrible adoptive parents, a broken grandmother. She's had it all. It's her very luck that the day she should have been proudest, someone attacks her school.
It's not the first attack in her school district, yet it certainly was the last.
She is brought upon a world of assassination, spies and politicians when she gets kidnapped by the very same people who attacked her school.
Poison Ivy- the name of organisation that brought her to the wrong side of the world. The organisation is a secretive one, its motto to help abolish the corrupt government and set a better one for the people. With them, she forms an alter ego, The Black Rose.
What happens when Vienna finds out that they are hiding a terrible secret, a one so bad that the world might burn if they succeed?
Well, you better watch out, as the world is in ashes, and a new one is to reborn.
