Hot and cold, light and dark, good and evil; There are examples of opposites. Though many see them as two completely different things, they are in fact two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other. Similarly, people have especially strong chemistry with others. This chemistry is usually shared with one's soulmate.
In this AU, turning sixteen means that you will receive your own super power. Your super power is your link to your soulmate. Your soulmate's power will be the opposite of your own.
I don't own the Miraculous characters or settings. The credit goes to Thomas Astruc as well as Zagtoon Animation.

What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham? Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby). A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, and comeuppance -- and marriage?! ___ Basically my attempt at a soulmate AU, full of just about every Damianette cliche and trope I can think of.
