(Edit: Never mind about the "blinking and it's all gone" part, this kind of "dream" is endless) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heather, on the other hand, is a social butterfly, she gets along really well with others, is really sweet, and can light up the whole room with just her bright smile. She prefers to speak English most of the time, however, will speak Spanish if the moment's right. Heather is the popular girl, she knows how to host a party and how to party, how to bake sweets, and has over a million of friends. She's also really rich too and lives in a mansion with her mother and sister. One day, Heather had fallen asleep in class because of a party she attended the day before, and had a dream about waking up in, what seemed to be, a fantasyland. She became determined to find out what the dream meant, and then she met someone who was having the same dream as her, and so the both of them made it their mission to find out why they're having these reoccurring dreams...oh yeah I forgot to mention, she's not very fond of Jenna, since they didn't really have a good start. (Edit: She speaks English throughout most of the story. But, spoiler alert, she speaks Spanish in the final chapter and in one of the bonus chapters.) Coming out must be hard but only doing so because you can no longer hide your feelings for your bestfriend is unimaginable. A story about falling in love after a long time coming... * "I'm jealous? For the past 4 years that little girl has had me wrapped around her finger and I wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately I got stuck in traffic on the way over so I'm late for pick up. Once I get to Melanie's classroom I fill out the sign out sheet that's on the wall and make my way into the classroom. I faintly hear Melanie laughing so I know she's not upset from me being late. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
