There are many views on what happens to us when we pass on. But here, you awake in the afterlife with a weapon in your grip. Guardians is what they're called, humans living in the afterlife with one clear goal in mind: to slay demons. While it is not known where Guardians derive from or who sent them, one thing is clear. They will stop at nothing to annihilate demons, who feast on the souls of deceased humans.
